Amazingly, last Tuesday the year fours went to the Anvil theatre in Basingstoke. We went on a coach and we were having fun on the journey. When we got to the Anvil, we went to our school place.  Firstly, we had a warm up where we had to breathe quickly three times.
We then did a rehearsal of all of the songs and each school practised their performance. Our favourite song was 'The Little Fish that got away.' Some schools were dancing, some were singing but we were the only school where every pupil was playing a musical instrument. It was really fun watching the other schools perform.  We also enjoyed seeing the violins, piano and the rest of the orchestra practising below us. 
Soon it was time for our school to practise our oboe and clarinet pieces which were 'Annie's Song' and 'Firework.' OC accompanied Annie's Song on her harp. We were scared at first but when we started playing we forgot our nerves. 
Afterwards, we went to Pizza Hut and had our salad, pizza and ice cream. Some of us had thin crust and some had deep pan.  We all had different toppings such as cheese and tomato, pepperoni and ham.  Those of us that didn't like pizza could have chicken strips and chips.
In the evening, all the schools had to return to their places on stage and let the parents in.  The orchestra began playing three different pieces. We felt nervous and excited at the same time. Our performance went astoundingly and everyone was so proud of us!! 

In maths we are learning time we are loving it🗒.

Today we played hit the button and I came second. 

Last week it snowed and I went sledging .It was very fun and I went  down on my stomach as well as making a snowman I made the biggest one out of my family and I also won the snowball fight.

Last Thursday it snowed.  On Friday we had no SCHOOL!  YES.  Also on Thursday we went to play in the SNOW! Me and [LM] made a snowman.  Me and [CL]  made snowangels.  We  went sledging.

We do Clarinet and obo lessons. LEH chose oboe, I do Clarinet and we are going to go to the Anvil!!!!!!!

Today is our football day and we all do it.

In French we are learning clothes like une jupe and des chaussures.


I do girl's football and it is so much fun.

In PE me and MMKA are doing rugby. 

On Thursday it snowed - a lot..

Cleopatra, wanted to become queen of Egypt but she got band from the palace.

Tutankhamun  became king when he was 9.

They worshiped cats and they had ginormous pyramids. They have different language and writing to us.

In 2650 BC the first step pyramid was built.

Queen Cleopatra killed herself. Romans conquer Egypt.

Tutankhamun died and got put in a tomb with his belongings but he had an after life.

In 1670 BC the hyksos people invade and introduced the chariot.

At times tables JHD JDA are good and enjoy our test. We are proud of our myths because we like creating our monsters because they are really scary and we have described them really well.

We are excited about going to the Anvil😊. We are also playing oboes and clarinets. Before the concert we are going to Pizza Hut. I (EW) am having chicken strips and chips. I (CL) am having thin peperoni pizza. We are playing two pieces of music Annie's song and firework - yay!

In our myths my monster is called a Liotaur. It has a head of a bull and a body of a lion.JHD. In my myth I had a monster called the Cihorseleg.It has a huge horn and one leg.TGB

We are excited about our tag rugby 
 tournament at Crossfields school.

THIS SCHOOL IS VERY GOOD.  LEARNING HERE IS VERY FUN.  

For the last few weeks we have been making a Lego monkey with a partner.The monkey moves and makes noises so it was very fun to make.Today we are starting to write a blog every week.😄

Excitingly, we are going to the Anvil to play oboes, HARP, and CLARINET. It is very exiting because we are playing musical instruments. We are also singing some sea songs. I am playing the Clarinet. BH OC IF

Yesterday I did girl football and I score a goal!!!!!!!!!!!!! MA
